What file specifications do you recommend for the best quality print?

Getting a high-quality print is as simple as 1-2-3!

  • We only accept .jpg, .png, and .bmp files.
  • Please make sure the file is set in sRGB color profile (This is the default profile in most cameras. CMYK will look distorted in the preview box, and it will print pretty wonky).
  • For best results, we recommend files no smaller than 1 MB and no larger than 20 MB with 300dpi, and that you use the original, high-resolution photo file. Check out our blog post on DPI vs. PPI (And What Makes An Image “High Quality”) for more information on image quality.
  • Fractures print only in a 4:3 or 1:1 aspect ratio. If your image is getting cropped when you upload it, click here for help on how to work around this.

And now you've got a high-quality print!
